In case you haven’t noticed, micro bags are in trend this season. By micro, we mean bags that barely fit your smartphone and some spare change (thank the heavens cashless payments are on the rise).
But there’s a new subdivision of micro bags made specially for housing AirPods – and we’re looking at Bulgari’s eye-catching Serpenti case for our buds.
Launched as part of the jeweller’s holiday collection last December, the Serpenti Forever AirPods Case is made of double-faced leather with tonal stitching and comes with a detachable snake-inspired jewellery chain. An iconic Snakehead closure in light gold-plated brass embellished with enamel scales completes the exterior in true Serpenti style.
Measuring only 7 x 6 x 3 cm in size, the chic holder is available in two holiday editions: ‘Flash Amethyst’ calf leather and rose quartz brushed metallic calf leather or ‘Antique Bronze’ and silver brushed metallic calf leather. Besides the holiday versions, there’s also the ‘Emerald Green’ calf leather and ‘Milky Opal’ metallic leather interpretations.
Unsurprisingly, the new accessory comes at a higher price tag than the AirPods they were made to contain – priced at US$680 (approximately RM2,860) to be specific. At least it doubles as a necklace and adds style points to your look, right?
